𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 🌍✈️... the most unforgettable family trip to Thailand 🇹🇭, with a short and sunny stop in Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪 – and I have to share it with you all!
We flew from Manchester 🛫 and honestly, it was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, culture, and beach bliss 🧘‍♀️🏝️ – and best of all, it was surprisingly affordable 💸, especially when it came to food 🍜, travel 🚕, and going out 🍹. Here's the breakdown...

🌆 𝟑 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒃𝒖 𝑫𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊 – 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒚𝒍𝒆
We kicked off with a 3-night stay in Abu Dhabi. It was the perfect way to break up the long-haul flight. Think rooftop pools 🏊‍♀️, sunshine ☀️, and skyscraper views 🌇 – with plenty of family-friendly vibes 👨‍👩‍👧.
Even better? It didn’t cost the earth 🌍! Meals out were reasonably priced 🍽️, and the city is super safe, clean, and easy to get around. ✅

🌴 𝑷𝒉𝒖𝒌𝒆𝒕 – 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 + 𝑩𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒕-𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔
Next stop: Phuket – and it was everything you’d hope for in a tropical escape 🌺. Our hotel was just steps from the beach 🏖️, with soft white sand and warm turquoise water 🌊.
The evenings were pure magic ✨ – we wandered through bustling night markets 🛍️, snacking on delicious Thai street food 🍢 (pad Thai, mango sticky rice, fresh spring rolls… all for just a few pounds per meal!).
Whether we were sipping fruit smoothies in the sun 🥭🍹 or enjoying cocktails at beach bars 🍸, everything felt indulgent – without the hefty price tag 💰.

🐘 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑯𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 – 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆 𝑳𝒖𝒙𝒖𝒓𝒚 & 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔
Then came the absolute highlight: Elephant Hills. Nestled in the heart of the jungle 🌿, this humane and magical place is part elephant sanctuary, part luxury eco-camp – and truly something special. ✨
The experience was educational and eye-opening, especially for the kids 🧒🏼. We learned about the elephants’ backgrounds 🐘 – many rescued from hard lives – and how they’re now cared for with love 💛 and respect.
We had the chance to feed and observe them up close 🥕 (no riding, just kindness), and those moments will stay with us forever 🥹.
The tents were a surprise too – spacious, beautifully furnished, and more like hotel suites than anything you'd expect in the middle of the rainforest 🏕️.
We canoed through ancient mangrove forests 🛶, listened to the sounds of nature at night 🌌, and just felt completely present. It was peaceful, grounding, and a once-in-a-lifetime kind of stay.

🌅 𝑲𝒉𝒂𝒐 𝑳𝒂𝒌 – 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅-𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏
We ended the trip with 5 blissful nights in Khao Lak – and honestly, I can’t think of a better way to finish 💆‍♀️. It’s quieter than Phuket but just as beautiful – long sandy beaches 🏖️, calm waters 🌊, and a really laid-back feel.
Evenings were all about exploring local markets 🛒, enjoying beachside dinners 🍛, and finding little family-run restaurants serving the best green curry or massaman for next to nothing 🥘.
You can easily eat out for under £10 for the whole family – and it’s delicious. 😋
Shopping was a treat too – we picked up souvenirs, handmade crafts, and clothes at great prices 🧣👜🎁.

🏨 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉-𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕
Every one of the hotels we stayed in was of high quality — clean 🧼, well-equipped 🛏️, and had everything we could possibly need. That level of comfort and reliability made a huge difference, especially travelling solo with my family 👩‍👧.
Having great accommodation in every location took all the stress out of the trip 💆‍♀️ and gave me peace of mind, knowing we had a safe, relaxing place to come back to each day. 🏡

Flights ✈️, hotels 🏨, transfers 🚐 — the whole trip was booked as one smooth, stress-free package. I didn’t have to think about the logistics once we landed – just enjoy the journey 🌈.
